People - The STIM Team
"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team."     - Phil Jackson

   Jiazhu Hu, Ph.D., P.E., Founder.

Dr. Hu is an innovator, startup entrepreneur, professional structural engineer and engineering software developer. As an engineer, he is always thinking about improving the way the engineering work is done. While doing projects, engineers are pushed to get the job done by tight schedule and have no time to sharpen the saw. Knowing the importance of having a sharp saw and continuous improvement, he took a fearless jump for the career and became an entrepreneur dedicated to developing innovative solutions for engineering work through Engineering Collaboration Improvement (ECI).

Dr. Hu is an experienced engineer with more than six years experience of industry structural analysis and design, of which almost three years in telecommunication industry. He has performed a wide range of structural analysis, structural modification design and analysis for telecommunication towers. He has conducted/reviewed structural analysis for more than 800 towers and modification designs for more than 150 towers. He published research results for critical code-changing monopole tower reinforcement design improvement. He has published more than 15 technical research papers on structural dynamics and vibration at top research journals and presentations at well-known conferences.
